Transportation
Go Transit, Toronto Project managed the design and construction of several facility modifications and upgrades at this transit terminal, including the installation of a hydronic roadway heating system. Interior renovations involved installation of new ceilings, washrooms and floors.

Finch West Station, Toronto Finch West is the second largest of the six new subway stations on the new Toronto York Spadina Subway Extension for the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC). This station includes a cross-over track structure, a bus terminal, a commuter parking lot, an electrical substation, and passenger pick-up and drop-off, three municipal road extensions and a future connection to the Finch West light rail transit (LRT). This fully developed location presents many challenges with fitting all the required components while minimizing property takings and minimizing the necessary utility relocations.

New Projects

IKEA, Richmond and Winnipeg
Pivotal is providing full project management services – from design development to commissioning – on IKEA’s new developments in Richmond, B.C. and Winnipeg, Manitoba. Each is approximately 340,000 square feet and includes retail, office and warehouse space.

Camrose Hotel, Camrose, AB
Pivotal is providing financial oversight on the construction of a $10.5M, 112-room hotel addition to the existing casino development in Camrose, approximately 100 kms southeast of Edmonton, Alberta.

Crofton Manor, Vancouver
Pivotal is managing remediation and redesign of this seniors’ facility which provides both independent and assisted living.

Eglinton Crosstown LRT, Toronto
Pivotal is project-managing the multi-disciplinary design team creating the conceptual design for three prototype underground stations on the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rapid Transit (ECLRT), a new, fully-underground line being program-managed by the TTC and funded by Metrolinx.
